Vidyapith started its journey on 10th July, 2005.

So far, in 6.5 years, Vidyapith awarded about GBP 58,570 (approximately, INR 45 Lakhs) as grants to 64 different schools / organisations in 12 different districts in West Bengal (Kolkata, Uttar 24-Paraganas, Dakshin 24-Paraganas, Purba Medinipur, Paschim Medinipur, Hooghly, Bardhaman, Bankura, Purulia, Birbhum, Malda and Jalpaiguri) and one in Jharkhand (Jamshedpur).
